Dr. Andrew Shuen is a leading expert in medical genetics and cancer prevention, with over a decade of clinical experience in high-risk cancer screening and prevention. He is board-certified in genetics in both Canada and the United States and currently serves as the Cancer Geneticist at the Cancer Prevention Centre at the Jewish General Hospital.
Dr. Shuen earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa, completed his medical genetics residency training at McGill University, and later earned his PhD in molecular genetics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where he contributed to groundbreaking research in cancer genetics and personalized medicine.
With a holistic approach to cancer prevention, Dr. Shuen integrates his background in nutrition, functional medicine, and advanced genomic technologies to provide personalized, evidence-based care.
